Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: -

  • Assist in developing and/or validating economic assessments for business development or portfolio optimization transactions.
  • Support transaction advisory activities, including commercial development and transaction structuring.
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to guide investment decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, project gate requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Participate as a finance representative on project teams as required.
  • Evaluate and assess the economic impact of corporate projects on Upstream business.
  • Provide governance assurance through commercial and economic assessment of transaction proposals.

Minimum requirements

As the successful candidate you will have: -

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a recognized and approved program
  • At least 5 experiences in financial analysis preferably in the oil & gas or energy sector
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and economic evaluation.
  • Familiarity with investment evaluation guidelines and capital planning processes.
