Overview
We are seeking an Investor Relations (IR) Analyst to join the Investor Relations team.
The IR team is responsible for providing best-in-class investor engagement practices, leading collaboration within the Group to support capital market activities, and building capabilities within the team.
Your primary role is to coordinate the development of the Company’s Earnings Call presentation, including the development of corporate messaging, analysis and articulation of financial performance, in addition to a range of other core IR activities
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Help manage relationships with external stakeholders by effectively communicating company strategy and performance to investors and analysts.
- Lead and facilitate the crafting of investor communications with senior management and other internal stakeholders, gather and share feedback from capital markets, benchmark best practice, monitor analyst reports and organize and deliver other investor-targeted events.
- Serve as a leading expert within the IR organization and contribute to the development and execution of the IR plan.
- Lead the preparation and execution of Earnings Calls and other investor events, including slide presentations, Q&A documents, event logistics
- Contribute to the delivery of IR responsibilities, including sell-side research monitoring, investor communication development, IR website and digital media management, event preparation and logistics, etc.
- Maintain close contact with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of corporate communication messaging.
- Work cross-functionally with corporate communications, legal, finance, public relations and other functions within the Company.
Minimum Requirements
- As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or other relevant discipline from a recognized and approved program. A relevant professional license is preferred.
- You will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting, finance, strategy, equity research, fund management and/or investment banking, including financial analysis and capital markets.
- You will have experience in a publicly traded company, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- You will be able to demonstrate strategic, corporate finance, and accounting skills, including the ability to evaluate both company and industry information.
- You will also have excellent analytical, critical thinking, project management, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of offering innovative solutions to complex issues is also required
- You will have excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to senior-level internal and external audiences.
- You will also have relationship management and leadership skills, including the ability to effectively influence internal and external stakeholders of all organizational levels.
- You will be able to successfully manage complex, unstructured and unexpected public questioning.
