Overview

We are seeking an Affiliate Finance Advisor to join the Sales & Supply Planning (S&SP) Business Support Division within the Sales and Supply Planning Admin Area.

This S&SP Business Support Division is responsible for enhancing governance, oversight, and board-level support for Aramco's overseas offices, including Aramco Europe, Aramco Americas, and Aramco Asia. These offices provide essential services in procurement, recruitment, research, public relations, and crude marketing, and are administratively aligned under the S&SP portfolio.

The Affiliate Finance Advisor will play a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, governance compliance, and strategic alignment of these offices with Aramco’s global objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Serve as a key finance representative in relation to affiliate board and committee meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure financial compliance with Aramco’s governance policies, local regulations, and shareholder directives.
  • Prepare and present Pre-Board reports, financial summaries, and performance dashboards for overseas offices.
  • Monitor and assess the implementation off finance related Board Resolutions and Governance Action Items.
  • Review and analyze annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts of Aramco’s overseas offices.
  • Monitor financial performance against approved plans and identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Conduct financial health assessments and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Coordinate with internal audit, controllers, treasury, compliance, and legal teams to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
  • Support the implementation of Aramco’s financial policies, internal controls, and risk management frameworks across overseas offices.
  • Ensure alignment with global tax, treasury, and reporting standards.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with local regulatory environments and operational models.
  • Act as a liaison between Aramco HQ and overseas finance teams, fostering strong collaboration and transparency.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to affiliate management and board representatives.
  • Lead internal initiatives to improve governance processes, financial reporting standards, and knowledge sharing across the affiliate network.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate, you will hold:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Management.
  • A professional finance certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or CIMA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Finance, Corporate Governance, or Affiliate Management, preferably in a multinational corporate environment.
  • You must have at least 5 years of experience in financial oversight of international subsidiaries or affiliates.
  • Demonstrated experience in Board-level financial reporting, governance frameworks, and policy implementation.
  • You must have a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), internal controls, risk management, and compliance.
  • You must have excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and external partners.
  • You will have the ability to work in cross-cultural environments and manage complex governance structures.
