Overview

We are seeking an Analyzer Engineer to join our Technical Support team under Global Manufacturing Organization.

 

The Technical Support Team is a multi-disciplinary team focusing mainly on supporting the technical and business needs of GM Operating facilities.

 

Your primary role is to handle analyzer engineering aspects. This will include designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining analyzer systems, across multiple facilities from the Downstream. You will also be responsible for providing technical support on high priority systems issues.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

  • Provide technical guidance, support, training, and expertise to plant departments.
  • Monitor Analyzer systems performance across all downstream departments.
  • Assess Analyzer systems performance and recommend improvements for system optimization.
  • Develop and maintain lifecycle management activities for Analyzer systems.
  • Establish auditing guidelines and perform frequent Analyzer audits.
  • Lead the development of new strategies and validate the feasibility of improving company productivity.
  • Ensure manufacturing knowledge is captured in the knowledge repository and continuous improvement is delivered by benchmarking and best practices.
  • Provide awareness sessions and lead technical exchanges and conferences.
  • Maintain Analyzer systems knowledge repository.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Analyzers and contribute to the troubleshooting activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • You will hold a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • You will have a minimum of 12 years’ experience in refining /oil and gas plants /petrochemical industries.
  • You will be proficient in the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry, i.e., API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
  • You will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • You will be familiarity with Analyzer types and applications.
  • You will have knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes
  • You will be aware of Industry standards, country-specific regulations, and local codes
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
