We are seeking a seasoned business strategy development and execution lead, who has been through multiple digital transformation programs at a corporate level. An individual who is well versed with industry trends in digital technologies and can lead or be part of multiskilled teams developing a strategy for corporate. 


Looking for an individual with a strong overview of Digital transformation projects in energy sector, and an understanding of the value that digital brings through his years of experience in Digital/IT/Business interfacing roles. The person is required to develop long term and short-term digital strategies, analyze the existing strategies from a fresh point of view, help setup the execution plans, define operating models to deliver the strategy and establish key performance indicators (KPI's) and other measures to monitor the progress. Person will provide proposals to the senior management on strategic initiatives and bring external and internal perspectives to support decision making process. 


Through knowledge and multiple years of practical and hands on experience in digital transformation projects, understands the applied agile delivery practices in digital projects, change management and embedment aspects, and can engage with various business and technology stakeholders. Be able to connect various programs and initiatives and be able to align with the company’s strategic direction. Ability to point out challenges with the ongoing strategic initiatives and can work with key stakeholders to resolve them. Experience in working for energy companies as Digitalization Advisor, Strategy Advisor, Digital Program manager is favorable.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • You will support our external clients in building visions, strategies, and implementation plans to help bring digitalization to life. 
  • Represent Digital Transformation as the face to the internal customers and stakeholders and build strong trust-based relationships
  • Lead highly motivated consulting teams to develop new digital strategies, capabilities, and competitive differentiators for our stakeholders
  • Contribute individually where needed to develop and refresh technology/digital strategies
  • Inspire departments to adopt new innovative approaches, tailored to their requirements, and guide them during pilot and implementation phases of digital transformation journey
  • Proactively coach colleagues and teams, enabling them to build new capabilities in digital strategy development and grow professionally
  • Represent Digital Transformation as the face to the internal customers and stakeholders and build strong trust-based relationships
  • Continuously ensure the team is fully equipped to provide strong impact to the client
  • Proactively coordinate and collaborate internally, support actively business development, and assume internal roles beyond project work (e.g., recruitment, appraisals, marketing/ publications)
  • Coordinate and collaborate internally, and sometimes assume internal roles beyond strategy (e.g. recruitment, publications, business planning, market analysis etc)
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for various stakeholder (mid to senior management) on strategy related topics.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree ideally in business, engineering, natural science, or IT (MBA, PhD desired, but not required)
  • Around 12 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting firm (relevant sectors and focus areas) or in a digital transformation/ innovation role for a renowned industrial enterprise with experience in leading (digital) engagements from inception to delivery
  • Digitally savvy; curious and passionate about technology, understands its impact on business and society.
  • experience in digital transformation, digital business ecosystems, or latest information technologies like ML, AI, Cloud, IoT
  • Profound experience in digital transformation using latest information technologies like ML, AI, Cloud, IoT, Analytics, AR/VR etc
  • Strong exposure across different industry verticals relevant, particularly Smart Cities/ Campuses/ Districts, IR 4.0, Smart Sustainability, Metaverse
  • Analytical, conceptual, and creative problem-solving skills combined with an entrepreneurial “can-do” mindset
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly (written and spoken) in English
  • Team player mindset with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel for the business needs.
  • Understanding of how technology and digital that unlocks value for our customers and stakeholders specially in an energy company environment.
  • Understanding of Strategic Planning, Execution, IT and Business Operating Models, IT and Business Governance Models and initiatives panning and management.
  • Skills to develop financial or operational models and conduct data analysis.
  • Driven; determined and optimistic.
  • Highly collaborative, creative and with excellent oral and written communication skills.
