Overview

Saudi Aramco Advanced Innovation Center (LAB7) under the National Champions Admin area is established with the aim of instilling and fostering a culture of innovation
in the Kingdom through availing quality services and infrastructure to accelerate ideas development to reach the commercialization stage. LAB7 will support a new
generation of innovators to develop groundbreaking ideas from conception to completion and facilitating the launch of technical-based startups.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Convert basic design information and requirements into engineering drawings
- Develop optimized designs with calculations in accordance with international standards for prototyping
- Design of electrical subsystems, including battery pack electrical design and testing, PCB layout, slip ring testing and development
- Modeling, simulating and testing of Energy Storage systems and batteries.
- Consult with clients to determine how materials can be tailored to suit product specifications.
- Review and provide consultation on Energy Storage Systems & designs
- Develop testing procedures to evaluate the effects of various conditions on particular materials.
- Provide day-to-day technical directions and problem resolution in support of detailed parts fabrication, hardware assembly and testing
- Assess feasibility of incubating projects within LAB7 from a technical/business perspective and oversee the development phases of incubated projects
- Track, monitor and report program performance & KPIs, and maintain well-structured and historical data repository
- Data consolidation, analysis, representation and drawing of observations and patterns to support decision making
- Establish communication with external entities for collaboration projects, and identify focus areas and technical subjects
- Prepare and present frequent reports/presentation to executive management

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelors OR Masters degree in either Chemistry, Materials Science or relevant Engineering field with excellent technical command, PHD is preferable
- Over 6 years Proven track record of in energy storage products development phases i.e. designing, modeling, fabrication, prototyping, testing and validation
- Proficiency in design batteries of all types such as (Alkaline, Lithium-ion...)
- Knowledge in energy storage/batteries test methodologies and procedures
- Excellent problem-problem solving, project management, analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in English (Writing and speaking)
- Excellent computer skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, for data consolidation, analysis, representation
