Overview
We are seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator to join our Technical Services Business Line.
Technical Services (TS) are responsible for providing specialized technical expertise and support across the company’s upstream, downstream, and power operations. TS plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of Aramco’s assets and operations through a wide range of services including engineering support, maintenance, inspection, and technical consulting. Beyond day-to-day operational support, TS also leads in the development and implementation of standards, oversees projects execution, and drives continuous improvement in technical capabilities across the organization.
Your primary role is to ensure that all technical activities are conducted in compliance with Aramco’s stringent safety standards and regulatory requirements. You will provide expert guidance on risk assessment, hazard identification, and the implementation of safety protocols across engineering, maintenance, and inspection processes. By promoting a culture of safety excellence, you will help prevent incidents, protect personnel and assets, and support the Business Line’s commitment to operational integrity and continuous improvement in safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Provide expert safety advice and guidance to ensure compliance with Aramco’s safety policies, standards, and regulatory requirements across all technical operations.
- Assess risks associated with engineering, maintenance, and inspection activities, and recommend appropriate control measures to mitigate hazards.
- Perform safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
- Support the development and implementation of safety procedures, work instructions, and emergency response plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture through training, coaching, and behavioral observation programs across the Business Line.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into project execution, technical reviews, and operational decision-making.
- Document and report safety metrics, trends, and lessons learned to management for strategic risk management and performance tracking.
Minimum Requirements
- You must hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
- You will have 7 years’ experience in Safety functions, including at least 3 years in Safety Advisory role with high level management.
- You must have a professional safety certification such as NEBOSH diploma, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Incident Investigation certification Program (ASSP) or equivalent international qualifications.
- You need to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of global safety standards and regulations, including OSHA, ISO, and HAZOP.
- You must have hands-on experience with risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP, Bowtie analysis, etc.
- You need to be proficient in using safety management systems such as SAP EHS, Safelife, ISO dashboard or similar platforms for incident tracking, audit management, and compliance reporting.
- You will be able to exhibit strong analytical skills to interpret safety data, identify trends, safety analysis report, and develop proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- You will be capable of leading safety culture assessments, delivering safety training, and mentoring junior safety professionals.
- You need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all organizational levels.
- You will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support technical reviews, project execution, and incident investigations.
- You need to be able to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations to senior leadership management and cross-functional teams.
- You need to demonstrate strong meeting facilitation and collaboration skills, including the ability to lead safety reviews, incident investigations, and technical workshops.
- You need to be an expert user of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create high-quality, professional presentations that convey complex safety data and analysis in a clear, concise, and visually compelling manner.
- You need to have strong computer literacy, including advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, Word for report writing, and Teams/Zoom for virtual communication and presentation delivery.
- You need to be able to tailor communication style to different audiences, from field personnel to executive management, ensuring clarity and impact in all safety-related messaging.
