Overview
We are seeking Integrity Engineers to join the Pipelines Technical Support Division of Project &Technical Support Department.
The Pipelines Technical Support Division is responsible for providing technical support to Pipeline operating facilities.
The Integrity Engineer primary role is to provide technical support to Pipeline operating facilities through assessing the integrity condition and risk for ensuring pipelines operate safe and reliable.
Key responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Focal point for ensuring all integrity related issues is managed.
- Analyze pipeline integrity data, identify hazards and make recommendations for mitigation risks.
- Review impact of defects on pipeline and make recommendations.
- Evaluate integrity assessment results to identify the need for additional actions.
- Participate in the preparation of hazard identification and risk assessment for pipelines and associated infrastructure.
- Develop or suggest improvement to Saudi Aramco engineering standards, procedures and best practices.
- Perform technical tasks on onshore and offshore pipelines facilities.
- Ensure the technical quality of the work produced and the assigned tasks.
- Participate in projects vendor meetings when requested for ensuring the pipelines proper engineering design.
- Provide expertise to answer technical queries and lead technical engineering studies.
Minimum requirements
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized and approved program. It is preferable to have an integrity engineer major with at least 5 years of experience.
- Familiar with pipelines’ integrity and risk international standards, codes, and best practices that include ASME B31.8, ASME B31.4, ASME B31G.
- Experience in conducting Fitness for Service (FFS) for pipelines.
- Experience in assessing pipeline corrosion and other threats that include cracks.
