Overview

We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to work in our Industrial Projects Department (IPD).


Industrial Projects Department (IPD) is a newly-established organization tasked with executing a diverse portfolio of projects, covering a wide array of industries. Utilizing various execution strategies, IPD’s projects involve a number of stakeholders including Governmental entities, Joint Venture partners, globally recognized Contractors, and Commercial entities. IPD also supports projects under transactional development and ensure optimal execution readiness.

 

As the Lead Financial Analyst, your primary role will be to provide professional expertise in the analysis of problems and procedures.   You will be supporting transactions, business developments and project execution as well as advising on legal documentation, project execution strategies and partnership requests.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:-
• Reviews and advises on official legal documents such as Memoranda of Understanding MoUs, Joint Development Agreements JDAs, and Contracts. 
• Provide inputs necessary for completing JV/Business Development financial modeling activities, 
• Evaluates and advises on project deliverables necessary for business developments, including necessary studies, data, and design considerations. 
• Assist in the interpretation and implementation of new governance processes and procedures as required.
• Maintain accounting records to ensure compliance with requirements under statutory rules, accounting standards, corporate policies, and procedures.
• Participate in Accounting special projects and/or audits as requested.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in the implementation of the solution.
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties as requested by management.

 

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you will hold a:

  • BS degree in Business or Management or related field.
  • Certification (CPA, CFA, ACCA, CMA) is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 12+ Years of relevant experience with agreement formation, interpretation, and finalization. This includes but is not limited to joint ventures (JV), memoranda of understanding (MoUs), shareholder agreements, and utility/power agreements.
  • Ability to work independently but also be a proactive contributing team member.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Capable of working with various stakeholders including such as governmental entities, JV partners, proponents, financial organizations (e.g. Banks), and executive management.
  • Understands financial instruments, is capable of advising on loan structure and identifying contributing factors to optimize debt/equity structure.
