We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the Ithra Communication & Partnerships Division of King Abdulaziz Center of World Culture (Ithra).

The Marketing Specialist’s primary role is strategic and you will be an integral part of developing and executing marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. 

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following: 

Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and strategies.

Lead projects to develop marketing campaigns, brand collateral, and long-term strategies – overseeing the work of external consultants, including web developers, videographers and online platform vendors.

Manage brand resources and processes to enable consistent brand delivery, i.e., message frameworks, visual assets, key terminology, accurate data and highlights.

Perform extensive quantitative and qualitative market researches to implement data driven marketing campaigns and meet organization-wide strategic goals.

Work closely with internal teams to support the organization’s growth by developing content marketing and demand generation strategies that drive awareness and engagement with the Ithra brand.

Develop and implement a strategic and external events calendar to drive awareness with new prospects and accelerate existing opportunities.

Work with the Marketing Coordinator to develop a centralized marketing calendar to include spotlight articles, social media and email campaigns, overseeing their full life cycle, including: creative/copy development, data segmentation, and reporting/analysis.

Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.

Liaise with external agencies to execute promotional events and campaigns.

Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning, etc).

Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts. 

Plan and execute initiative to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV, etc).

Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rate, traffic, etc) to help shape future marketing strategies.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred from a recognized and approved program. 

You will have a minimum of fifteen years’ experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a corporate marketing/advertising or a similar environment i.e. advertising and branding agency with proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role. 

You will be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. 

You will have a thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.) and market research methods. 

You will also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics.

You will be able to demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
