Overview
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join Producing Business Support Division (PBSD) under producing organization.
PBSD provides technical and strategic support to Saudi Aramco’s upstream production operations, ensuring that engineering, planning, and performance functions align with company objectives, regulatory standards, and operational excellence. The division also supports multi-disciplinary engineering activities, promotes technical integrity, and facilitates data-driven decision-making to enhance production efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Your primary role is to provide professional process engineering expertise that supports the development, evaluation, and improvement of process designs and operating conditions to ensure technical integrity, operational excellence, and compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, you will be required to perform the following:
- Provide process engineering input during the review and optimization of process system designs.
- Ensure that engineering solutions support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
- Identify and assess operational risks associated with production processes and equipment.
- Evaluate potential process hazards and their impact on safety and system performance.
- Develop and recommend mitigation measures to reduce identified risks and hazards.
- Enhance process safety and operability through engineering interventions and design improvements.
- Apply independent technical judgment to evaluate complex engineering issues and propose solutions.
- Use system-level understanding to assess how individual components interact within the overall process.
- Apply lifecycle-focused engineering principles to ensure long-term reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement engineering recommendations effectively.
Minimum requirements
- As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor degree in Process Engineering.
- You will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Process Engineering, including at least 7 years in process design, operational support or process optimization.
- You will have demonstrated experience in process analysis, design evaluation, and performance improvement.
- You will also have a strong knowledge of process engineering principles, safety considerations and engineering standards.
- You will be able to demonstrate the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective engineering solutions.
- You will also have strong communication and technical reporting skills.
