Job Description

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our Rotating Equipment Division (RED) under Equipment Consulting Services Department.

 

RED is responsible for providing high level technical consolations/support to all the company operating facilities, joint ventures as well as heavily support the company mega projects from the early stage till startup.

 

As a Reliability Engineer your role will be to develop value adding concepts and technologies to address corporate challenges and enhance its operation. Furthermore, maintaining Saudi Aramco mandatory engineering standards and best practices related to various types of rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

  • Provide guidance on complex reliability process and equipment enhancements, supported by detailed engineering analysis.
  • Anticipate future challenges and develop reliability analysis to evaluate performance
  • Proactively anticipates potential system and equipment failures and implement strategies to mitigate operational risks
  • Plan, lead, and oversee root causes analysis on systems and/or equipment critical to operations
  • Introduce and implement new technologies in the field to enhance equipment reliability and operational performance
  • Provide technical guidance for the design, architecture, and data requirements of reliability and maintenance metrics and KPIs.

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in operation maintenance
  • Experience in Oil, gas or petrochemical industry
  • Professional certification such as Professional Engineer (P.E), or Chartered Engineer ( C.Eng.)
