Overview

We are seeking a Renewable Strategy & Market Specialist to join our Renewable Value Chain and Investment Division (RVC&ID) within our Power Systems.

RVC&ID performs opportunity scanning for Saudi Aramco facilities and affiliates, upfront business case development, high level feasibility study, identifies strategic alignment and coordinates with technical teams for detailed site-specific engineering analysis for residential, commercial, and industrial scales for different facilities.

Your primary role will be to support the development and production of market intelligence reports to support the execution of the renewable’s strategy. You will work on shaping the vehicles and arenas of which renewables investments should take place based on market studies, benchmarking, and combination of options to have the best return on investment with optimized solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Act as advisor to management on investment decisions, technical and technological insights in the renewables business.

Prepare and present plans, analyses, interpretations and recommendations to management.

Lead the shaping of strategy based on carbon credits and environmental attributes to support decarbonization efforts and NetZero aspirations.

Provide data, studies, arguments, and other materials to be used in discussions with stakeholders.

Prepare summaries of benchmarks, capital plans, investment portfolios, and renewables market performance both globally and regionally.

Produce regular report and publications summarizing market intelligence and news for management insights and decision support.

Support the development of strategy for renewables deployment and execution of projects.

Stay up to date with market, technological trends and best cost-effective options for renewables and new energy transition matters.

Support decision making for investment based on benchmarking and intelligence reports.

Support achieving revenue targets as set by the management for renewables investments.

Minimum Requirements

You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business & Management. MBA Degree is preferred.

 You will have a minimum of 12 years’ experience in renewables development, strategy development & execution.

You should possess a strong background in market research and brief publishing.
