Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join the Medical Services & Affiliates Management Department (MS&AMD).

The Medical Services & Affiliates Management Department is responsible for overseeing and supporting Saudi Aramco’s healthcare-related services and affiliate entities, ensuring effective financial governance, compliance, and sustainability across medical operations, insurance arrangements, and affiliated healthcare organizations.

Your primary role is to provide advanced financial and accounting analytical support to MS&AMD by serving as a trusted subject matter expert on complex accounting, financial reporting, and healthcare-related financial matters. This role plays a key part in supporting management decision-making, strengthening financial governance, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco accounting policies, internal controls, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and providing professional advisory input across financial, accounting, contractual, and procurement-related areas, with particular emphasis on healthcare financials and insurance-related analytics.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will perform the following:

  • Perform advanced financial and accounting analyses to support complex transactions, reporting requirements, and management decision-making.
  • Analyze and evaluate accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, internal controls, and IFRS requirements.
  • Address complex accounting, financial reporting, reconciliation, and tax-related issues in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Assess the financial feasibility and impact of proposed transactions, including production, sales, purchases, employee and vendor disbursements.
  • Perform financial modelling, investment and divestiture analysis, asset valuation, and financial due diligence activities, as required.
  • Prepare and review confidential financial reports, forecasts, cash flow analyses, budgets, and funding-related documentation.
  • Provide financial, accounting, economic, and commercial advisory support on agreements, governance structures, risks, and mitigation measures.
  • Perform complex operational accounting activities, including account reconciliation, cost analysis, compliance assessments, and statutory reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc financial expertise and advisory support to subsidiaries, joint ventures, affiliates, and internal stakeholders on accounting, contract, and procurement matters.
  • Coordinate with finance, legal, procurement, compliance, and other internal functions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial outcomes.
  • Review or guide the work of less-experienced analysts to support assigned projects and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

  • As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, financial analysis, reporting, or advisory roles within large or regulated organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and financial reporting standards in accordance with IFRS.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, modelling, and interpretation of complex financial data.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, ACCA, SOCPA, CMA, or CFA are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to operate independently with sound professional judgment and discretion.
  • Full professional proficiency in English; Arabic is preferred.
