Overview
We are seeking a Business Communications Partner (BCP), to join the Communication Alignment Division in Aramco’s Corporate Communications function.
Aramco’s Corporate Communications function is responsible for elevating Aramco's reputation, influence, and trust among global stakeholders, fostering global visibility and driving business outcomes.
The Communications Alignment Division is responsible for the development, coordination, alignment, execution oversight, evaluation, and accountability reporting of integrated business communications to support the Company’s Business Line functions.
The Division is comprised of Business Communications Partners that are assigned to support Business Lines, ensuring that business plan objectives and priorities are translated into impactful integrated communications strategies, content campaigns, and event, news and initiative plans.
The BCP’s primary roles are to ensure that business communications are fully aligned and integrated with the overall Corporate Communication Strategy and Content Strategy, and to support as a lead communications interface between Corporate Communications and the assigned Business Line function.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Serve as a key interface and coordination point for all assigned communications workstreams, managing input from the Business Line leadership team and the broader Corporate Communications function.
- Stakeholder mapping and research that helps to build a deep understanding of the audience and their needs.
- Leveraging data-driven insights (including corporate reputation tracking, media analysis, benchmarking) to inform a strategic approach, business communication objectives, and KPIs.
- Development of compelling, multi-channel business communications strategy, with input from leadership and corporate communications team members.
- Development of specific messaging and supporting materials, drawing on proof points to validate business communications messages and priorities.
- Content development including but not limited to press releases, key messages, FAQs and factsheets, strategic briefs for creative content (such as motion infographics, video, website, etc.) with input from the Business Line and Corporate Communications teams.
- Coordinating with other communications teams to successfully activate the business communications strategy – including through media relations, social media, event management, publishing, internal communications, speechwriting, and other marketing/communications channels as appropriate.
- Identify and develop a calendar of strategic speaking engagements and opportunities for the business leaders and subject matter experts.
- Development of clear business communications objectives, KPIs, and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of communications and external engagement with content and understanding of strategy.
Minimum Requirements
- You will have strong academic credentials, holding a Bachelor’s degree, with advanced or professional qualifications in Communications or related disciplines also desirable.
- You will have eight plus years of experience in strategic business communications, either in-house or in a consultancy. Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy Sector and regional experience is also desirable.
- You will have proven experience in developing and delivering a multi-channel corporate communications strategy in a global, diversified, and agile organization.
- You must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
- You must also have professional gravitas, credibility, and diplomacy skills to liaise with senior leaders and executives.
- You will have the ability to confidently present to senior executives and explain communication strategies, techniques, and KPIs.
- You will be able to distil technical terms, information, aims and objectives, information and objectives, and translate these into clear and compelling communication concepts for stakeholders.
- You must be fluent in written and verbal English, while Arabic language skills not mandatory but desirable.
