Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Brand Management Strategist to join the Content & Brand Compliance Unit in the Branding & Content Services Division, Communication Content & Channels Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for brand development, the use and application of strategic and creative skills to create, refine, enhance, and drive brand awareness and protect the integrity of the developed brand. A brand strategist develops position recommendations, guides market research analysis and defines brand elements and tone. A brand strategist will also work together and in conjunction with a brand manager to ensure the organization’s products and services, mission, values, culture and brand image are consistently represented and communicated to all audiences.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following tasks: 
-    Analyze consumer insights, observe and analyze market trends and competitors.
-    Establish brand standards by defining and communicating the brand standards and verifying compliance across all channels. 
-    Build, strengthen, and amplify the organization’s brand awareness to all audiences.
-    Articulate the organization’s brand promise, and ensure that all communications consistently reflect that promise.
-    Set business performance goals or KPIs to measure brand perception, interactions, brand awareness, market ROI, competition.
-    Work with leadership to establish brand guidelines, metrics, and standards.
-    Ensure compliance with brand standards across all media for the proprietary and trademarked brands and designs.
-    Design and monitor business performance goals to drive brand awareness.
-    Observe and analyze market and competitor trends. 
-    Monitor the quality and integrity of the brand and services and respond as needed to ensure brand alignment.
-    Ability to work with the creative team to bring the strategy into visual execution in alignment with the strategic direction and plan.
-    Oversee brand development through the design development to execution and release. 
-    Work on several projects at once, sometimes under pressure and often tight deadlines.
-    Keep up to date with popular culture and trends.
-    Liaise with proponents and interpret briefs.
-    Present strategic and visual direction to proponents.

Minimum Requirements

  • University degree in Brand Strategy, Communication, Marketing, Branding, Brand Management or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Branding, Brand Strategy or related field.
  • Excellent command of oral and written English.
  • Should be able to adapt to multicultural environment.
  • Solid portfolio of previous work.
