Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join Jazan Refinery Maintenance Dept. (JZRMD) as a Sr. Maintenance Engineer.

Jazan Refinery Maintenance Department is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all refinery assets, including process units, utility systems, and critical infrastructure. The department oversees preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, utilizing advanced technologies and work management practices to maximize equipment uptime and minimize unplanned downtime. The team supports major turnarounds, manages contractor activities, and collaborates closely with inspection, corrosion, and engineering groups to maintain asset integrity. With a strong focus on safety, innovation, and operational excellence, the department plays a key role in sustaining the refinery’s production of high-quality fuels and petrochemicals, supporting both domestic needs and international markets.

The primary role is to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment and systems within the refinery. This includes developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, conducting root cause analysis on equipment failures, and supporting turnaround activities to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize asset performance, ensures compliance with technical standards and safety protocols, and leverages advanced diagnostic tools to monitor equipment health. By integrating engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives, the role contributes directly to maintaining asset integrity, operational readiness, and long-term reliability of refinery operations.
