Job Purpose
The Upstream HR Business Partnering Department, which is responsible for providing end-to-end HR services to the entire Upstream Business Line is seeking to hire a Senior HR Business Partner HR with experience leading a HR transformation in a large matrix reporting organization. Upstream produces up to 12 million barrels of oil and approximately 18 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day. The organization is made up of 8 business units (Admin Areas) and approximately 30,000 employees.
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a critical link between the Aramco Corporate HR function and the Upstream Business Line, developing partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-adding services to enable the Upstream business and 2030 growth ambitions. To be effective, the HRBP will develop a deep understanding of the Business Line strategy, key value-drivers, business and workforce plans and culture, and be able to translate these into a people agenda for Upstream organization.
Key Responsibilities
As a successful candidate, you will perform the following:
- Demonstrate business understanding, drive workforce planning, and develop HR roadmaps for talent attraction, retention, and development.
- Advocate for high-quality individual performance management, provide insights into labor cost, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, offering strategic HR advice and guidance. Additionally.
- Drive change initiatives, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and promote a diversity and inclusive workplace culture, leveraging digital tools and analytics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain organizational health, develop leadership capabilities, and provide individual coaching to leaders, ensuring leadership team effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will have:
- A bachelor of Science in Business and Management or Human Resource Management
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR business partnering, e.g., in developing HR plans and implementing initiatives in areas such as recruitment, performance management, organizational design, training, and change management; with specific experience in the Oil and Gas sector being highly advantageous.
- A good understanding of business functions, industry trends, and competitive landscape, along with the ability to make decisions that align with business objectives.
- Proven track-record of translating business requirements into people strategy, e.g. in workforce planning and talent recruitment; preferably in large, complex, multi-national organizations.
- Proficiency in communicating effectively with all organizational levels and building strong relationships with stakeholders, including corporate leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and resilience in facing industry challenges.
- Strong leadership and analytical abilities, with a focus on data-driven approaches to improve business performance.
