Overview
Responsible for implementing, administering and coordinating Business Line-wide professional, academic development and enrichment programs serving GC6-17 employees and non-employees. Provides advisory support, academic advisory and counseling services to all employees to ensure an effective developmental process.
Coordinates Business Line-wide in-house, in-Kingdom and out-of-Kingdom professional, academic development & enrichment programs. Monitors compliance with program ground rules. Provides professional and academic development advice, information and guidance in collaboration with departmental and admin area training personnel. Provides services inclusive of career planning, program selection and program criteria to ensure that organizational and business needs are met. Functions under the general direction of the Business Line HR group.
Duties & Responsibilities
As Human Resources Development lead, candidate will be responsible for:
Design, implement and manage programs that enhance skills related to employees’ functions and close their competency gaps.
Create training and development initiatives and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
Developing an organization-wide annual learning and development plan
Auditing and assessing learning and development needs
Developing training plans and ensuring everybody gets the training required to perform better
Monitoring the success of the training plan
Balancing training spending with value gained
Controlling the training budget
Working with internal and external trainers to deliver best-in-class quality
Processes employees’ assignments and nomination/placement of professional development programs' participants. Processes for approval submitted transactions of accepted participants.
Provides customer guidance and monitors academic performance progress to ensure impactful outcomes and counsels participants as necessary.
Communicates regularly with sponsoring organizations about candidates' nominations/registrations, development plans and academic progress to ensure that corporate and national talent development needs are met.
Screens and evaluates development program candidates and reviews nature of proposed assignment to ensure proper placement/meaningful plans. Assists in the evaluation or delivery of professional or talent development solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a business/system related discipline from a recognized and approved program. A master’s degree is preferred.
Professional HR certification such as SHRM, HRCI, CIPD.
Personable, good communication skills, analytical, strategic and a good listener.
You should have 10 to 15 years of experience in HR functions, preferably in competency management and people development .
Fluent English / Arabic is not essential but desirable
