Overview
We are seeking a Senior snubbing foreman to join our Unconventional Resources Drilling 3 Department under Unconventional Resources.
The Unconventional Resources Drilling 3 Department is responsible for providing workplace support, compensation, development and wellbeing.
Your primary role is to supervise snubbing operations in term of execution as per Saudi Aramco workover program, ensure compliance to Saudi Aramco safety and operations standards.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Performs Unit level supervisory function at well locations remote to Operations headquarters on a 24 hour per day basis, 14 days on duty, 7 days off work schedule or 28 days on duty, 28 days off work schedule.
- Directs all well operations expediently, safely and according to accepted industry practices as outlined and specified in the well Workover program issued by the Drilling Engineering Dept.
- Co-ordinates the timely ordering of required well materials, equipment and services according to the well program. Documents the receipt, usage and transfer of Saudi Aramco supplied materials and equipment. Reviews service company field tickets for accuracy of services provided and associated charges.
- Ensures that Saudi Aramco Blowout Prevention Standards are met in all respect including equipment configuration, testing and crew response. Assures that rig and personnel comply with Saudi Aramco established safety standards and procedures.
- Provides a complete daily report of work progress as required in the Daily Morning Report.
- Promotes cost-savings ideas and awareness with the view toward operational optimization consistent with safely meeting well objectives.
- Provides on-job training to less experienced workover personnel assigned to the workover site.
Minimum requirements
- You will have 10+ years’ experience in the workover of oil and gas wells.
- The candidate will have experience providing assistance in well planning and drilling execution; and is capable to work in a real-time operations center on shift rotation with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills required.
