Overview
We are seeking an Organization Design/Development Practitioner to join our Downstream Organization Development Division.
Downstream Organization Development (DOD) is responsible for providing organization design and jobs consulting, develop assessments for organization restructures across all Downstream organizations and its affiliates by applying organization design frameworks and principles in alignment with corporate. DOD also conducts workforce planning for Downstream by applying workforce modeling methodologies. Workforce planning activities covers the full spectrum of demand and supply planning for Downstream’s workforce. DOD carries out continuous improvement projects across the Downstream business and is expected to perform change management when required for major changes in the business.
Your primary role is to be an organization design practitioner and an organization development advisor to Downstream and DOD management and stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Manages and conducts all activities to successfully complete project assignments; defining parameters, objectives & work scopes; study techniques, plans & schedules; data collection, interpretation of findings; final recommendations, selling, implementation & post project review as necessary.
- Collaborate with the business to analyze major organization challenges and provide recommendations on interventions to enhance business effectiveness.
- Work as a fully independent individual contributor in solving business challenges related to organization development disciplines.
- Functions as a team leader when required, providing work direction to less experienced employees as needed.
- Participates in developing more junior consultants.
Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or Engineering from a recognized and approved program. Masters or MBA is preferred.
- 15 years’ experience in organization development, management consulting, operating model design, workforce analytics, with strong knowledge of downstream value chains i.e. refining, pipelines, terminals, distribution, petrochemicals and power distribution including at least 10 years providing consulting services to downstream business.
- Full MS. Office, business intelligence tools proficiency is required.
- Mobile and flexible to travel to meet and engage with clients.
- Prior experience in GCC region is preferred.
