Job Purpose

We are seeking a talented and detail oriented Writer/Editor to join Communications Division.

The communication Division Oversees the planning and the execution of marketing and communications activities aimed at promoting Ithra’s components, content and offerings. The division is responsible for the Center’s branding, positioning and sales strategies. Key tasks include setting and reporting on communications KPIs for internal and external initiatives and activities and oversees and coordinates Ithra’s communications collaterals, timelines, deliverable and engagements, while liaising with other Center divisions to ensure integrated coordination for Ithra activities, programs and initiatives. Also responsible to both acts as and prepare spokespersons for external Center-related engagements.

You will be responsible for creating and refining high quality content that engages our audience and align with our brand voice.  

Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

  • Lead the creation, editing, and refinement of high-quality content across various formats. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content strategies.
  • Oversee the quality of all content, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the company’s style guide.
  •  Mentor and provide guidance to junior writers and editors.
  • Conduct in-depth research to support content development.
  • Optimize content for search engines and analyze performance metrics.
  •  Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for content-related inquiries.

Education & Experience Requirements

As a successful candidate, you will have:

·       Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

·       Minimum of 10 years’ experience in art and culture content like: theater, museum, library and creativity

·       Proven experience as a writer and editor preferably in a digital content environment.

·       Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems
