Overview

We are seeking an experienced Banking Operations Specialist to join our team at Banking Operations Division. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of banking operations, including bank account management, KYC, SWIFT and SARIE payments, investments, FX, data analysis, credit cards, and strong relationship management skills, to support our banking operations and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

The Banking Operations Division oversees the company’s payment processes, and manages the company’s banking accounts. This includes maintaining KYC compliance, opening and closing accounts, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The division also manages contracts and agreements related to banking operations as well as Retail Banking Services within the company premises.

 Your primary role is to Oversee and facilitate payment processing, manage bank accounts, and ensure timely KYC updates for the company and its subsidiaries. Additionally, foster and maintain the relationships with partner banks to efficiently manage all banking operations, including branch-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of bank accounts, including opening, closing and maintaining accounts, while ensuring accurate record-keeping in the group’s banking master database.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of Bank Account Management, In-House Bank, and related processes, including cash pooling and payment factory operations.
  •  Collaborate with internal departments to support the development and implementation of new treasury and banking products and address general inquiries effectively.
  •  Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and KYC standards.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, such as fraud, compliance breaches and cybersecurity threats.
  •  Build and maintain strong relationship with banking partners to optimize processes, resolve issues promptly and negotiate favorable terms and agreements.
  •  Review and negotiate banking agreements and contracts, including ISDA master agreements, SLA’s, MA-CUG and other key documents, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  •  Lead the negotiation and execution of investment agreements with local and international financial institutions, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on banking operations, performance and key metrics to support data-driven strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve banking operations, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee all aspects related to the Corporate Credit Card program, including reviewing and negotiating agreements with banking partners. Manage the internal processes for issuing, monitoring and reconciling corporate credit card usage, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with relevant departments to streamline workflows, address user inquiries and Implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and control.

Minimum Requirements


As a successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Account or Business Administration from a recognized and approved program.
You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in back-office corporate treasury operations, preferably within an integrated oil company.
Proficiency in treasury software and systems, with expertise in SAP, SWIFT messaging standards, and electronic banking platforms is a requirement.
Solid understanding of Shariah-compliant business banking is also necessary.


You will have the ability to coach and develop staff in analytical skills and project delivery.
You will have an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent presentation skills.
You will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You will have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
You will have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
